Five things to look out for during Digital Signage Week

3rd April 2018Jo RuddockCorporate, DigitalNo Comments

Taking place from 30 April – 4 May, London Digital Signage Week covers a wide range of digital signage applications, from corporate and retail to smart cities and DooH. Consisting of a number of events aimed at media owners, manufacturers, integrators, investors and more, Digital Signage Week is an opportunity to discuss trends, recognise success and network.

Here we highlight five aspects of London Digital Signage Week you won’t want to miss.

Digital Signage Masterclass

Focusing on how experience and value are crucial to the success of any digital project, especially in retail, this free-to-attend masterclass will be delivered by Google and Beaver Group at Google’s Kings Cross, London headquarters. Taking place on the afternoon of 30 April, the session features an end-user case study from Chipotle and will deliver insights into how to plan, deploy and maintain digital retail solutions.

Global Digital Signage Conference

This one-day event, taking place on 1 May, is billed as ‘the only dedicated conference for digital signage anywhere in the world that promotes, stimulates, fosters and actively encourages debate within the ever-growing digital signage industry’. Sessions include Creating the Best Customer Experience – The Role of Digital Signage in the Connected Customer Journey, hosted by Vanessa Walmsley, managing director at Qmatic, and How to Create Award Winning Content For Digital Signage by Alex Hughes, co-founder of Amigo.

Retail Digital Signage Expo

Taking place on 2-3 May at London’s Olympia, RDSE is Europe’s only retail digital signage event; as a sign of the strength of the industry it is doubling in size for 2018 and moving to the National Hall at Olympia. As well as showcasing the latest technologies on the showfloor, RDSE also features a dedicated conference programme, welcoming speakers from invidis consulting, AVIXA and Google, among many others as well as a host of networking opportunities.

European Out of Home Summit

Following on from four years of success, The DailyDOOH Media Summit has been extended and rebranded as the European Out of Home Media Summit to better reflect both its ambitions and the audience that it attracts. Taking place at BAFTA, Piccadilly, expert speakers include Stephen Loncar, chief strategy officer, Clear Channel International, Helen Weisinger, chief client officer, Outdoor Plus, and Adrian Cotterill, editor-in-Chief, DailyDOOH. They will be discussing best practice, industry trends and new ideas.

Digital Signage of Today, Tomorrow

On 3 May, RMG Networks will host an exclusive lunch and thought leadership session at Tower 42. During the session, experts will talk about the possibilities and the best tactics to implement data-driven visual communications for your business. Attendees will gain fresh insights into how to make a brand stand out, boost employee engagement and create a fresh and strong appeal towards consumers and clients.
