CDEC enjoyed a successful start to the year, winning an AV News Award at ISE. This was followed by being shortlisted for two InstallAwards and two AV Awards, including the prestigious Integrator/Reseller of the Year accolade. We worked closely with CDEC on each of these entries.
As each awards scheme is different, with varying requirements and judging systems, there is no one size fits all option for awards entries. As we have many years of both entering and establishing industry awards schemes we were able to use our knowledge to advise on key aspects judges are looking for.
In the case of the AV Awards, for example, we met with CDEC to discuss their achievements over the past 12 months, both business and project based. We then filtered this information into the entry, covering all key points. We also spoke to partner companies to get their perspectives and experiences. On a practical level we organised for our experienced videographer to meet clients, end users, team members and management to create an eye-catching visual element to work alongside the written entry. As well as filming, weedited the video to condense it into a short, informative piece. We also produced other visual elements including photography of key installations and PowerPoint presentations.
The result was engaging, informative and well-rounded entries that clearly caught the judges eye as CDEC went home with the Integrator/Reseller of the Year Accolade at the recent AV Awards.
